Robert Gregson is an Emmy award-winning director based in Brooklyn, NY.​

As a director, he has created ads for Google, Pfizer, U.N. Environment Programme, FEED Foundation, Entrepreneur Magazine, Post Pebbles Cereal, ARM Tech, and Joico. A seven part ad campaign he directed for the Hospital for Special Surgery was awarded a NY Emmy. He also wrote and directed Envisioning a New Home for the Late Show, a viral short which documented the architectural renovation of the Ed Sullivan Theater for Stephen Colbert’s late show.

He wrote and directed the short dramatic thriller, A Good Couple, which World Premiered at Dances With Films. His feature screenplay adaptation of the short, Echo Island, was selected to participate in Stowe Story Labs 2024.

His short film awards include Best New Director from Brooklyn Film Festival for The Refrigerator, Best Short Screenplay from Rhode Island International Film Festival for A Good Couple, Best Horror Short at Montreal Independent Film Festival for Shut Eye, and Best Micro Film from Oregon Documentary Film Festival for Color to Color. Additionally, his feature film Trivia Night won Best Feature Film at Omaha Film Festival.
Most recently, he wrote and directed the short films The Interpreters, a dark comedy about mortality and social media, and Blood Stone, a psychological horror film, both playing festivals through 2026.
He is also developing the feature film Echo Island.
